STARTUP FAIR  PITCH BATTLE 

Every year we invite innovators from around the globe to apply for the chance to pitch on the Startup Fair’s stage in front of the investor jury and international audience. This year, we received 127 applications from 22 countries. 

 

The investors jury handpicked 40 startups for the grand Pitch Battle. The selected finalists include an impressive mix of tech-driven solutions ranging from AI and robotics to sustainability-focused ventures. They will now compete in front of a diverse panel of seasoned investors, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders, all vying for the opportunity to scale their businesses on a global stage.

PITCH BATTLE PRIZE POOL

INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY:

The top 1-3 startups will get the chance to raise funds from Lithuanian Business Angels Network (LitBAN), Coinvest Capital, and Baltic Sandbox Ventures, which invests in early-stage deep tech, dual-use technologies, and life sciences solutions. Depending on the specific needs, stage, and innovativeness of the chosen startups, the total investment pool could exceed €3 million. While the actual investment amount will be determined based on the startup's needs, product or service innovation, and satisfactory due diligence.

SHOWCASE TO INVESTORS:

Selected startups will have the unique opportunity to present their innovative solutions to an international audience of investors as part of the "Connect 2 Scale" project, run by LitBAN.

Additionally, selected finalists will be invited to participate in the Startup Lithuania Accelerator powered by Plug and Play. This accelerator provides the opportunity to receive funding of up to €150,000 and further accelerate through the "GOAL" program in Silicon Valley.

ADDITIONAL PRIZES:

In addition to the main investment opportunities, startups participating in the Pitch Battle will also compete for valuable additional prizes. Cloudvisor is offering $5,000 in AWS credits, while Sorainen provides €3,000 in legal services. Moreover, the Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International (ATR) offers access to KGAP+ (Keihanna Global Acceleration Program Plus) in Japan. These supplementary prizes will further support startups in accelerating their growth and expanding their global reach.

PITCH BATTLE WINNERS 2023

Estonian startup Vocal Image received the biggest appreciation from the Pitch Battle jury this year. The winning app, based on artificial intelligence technology, allows the development of individual vocal skills for both public speaking and personal development.
