Laima Balčiūnė is the CEO of Sunrise Tech Park, which serves as a dynamic hub that nurtures innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration in various high-tech fields. It actively supports startups by providing incubation programs, mentorship, funding opportunities, and access to a network of experts and investors. It plays a vital role in driving economic growth, technological advancement, and the development of a vibrant startup ecosystem in Lithuania. One of the main activities of the park is the promotion of cleantech. To this end, Laima initiated the establishment of a CleanTech cluster, which currently brings together over 40 organizations, and a year ago, together with Latvia and Estonia, founded Cleantech for Baltic - a unique pan-Baltic think-tank for accelerated cleantech innovation and funding in sustainable technologies.
