Mr. Rasmussen is a Silicon Valley native that has been part of five IPOs, exits amounting to over $12B, mentored over 1500 companies and currently advises over two dozen accelerators.  He is a past Entrepreneur-in-Residence of Institutional Venture Partners and member of the Sand Hill Angels investment group.   

Rick Rasmussen is an Industry Fellow and Member of Faculty at the University of California, Berkeley.  In addition to teaching, he serves as the Director of Startup Programs for the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology responsible for creation of new programs centering on Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation.  He is also appointed Adjunct Faculty for Northeastern University. 

Mr. Rasmussen earned an EECS degree with highest honors from UC Berkeley as well as a dual MBA degree from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and Columbia's Graduate School of Business in New York City.
