Ido leads the AI business for Microsoft in SouthEast Europe. Prior to this role, he led Cloud Innovation in Middle East Africa, and the cloud Business Group at Microsoft Israel. Ido was the first Microsoft executive to launch an openAI product in June 2021, and initiated the company’s Digital Native model for startups, which is now adapted across EMEA. Prior to his work at Microsoft, Ido co-founded Wisdo, a direct-to-consumer digital health startup, based in the Silicon Valley, which is curing the loneliness epidemic.

Before founding Wisdo, Ido founded and managed a Global Cloud Analytics Business Unit at IBM, based in London. Between 2005 and 2008, Ido served in several roles at Digital Fuel (acq. VMware), based in New York, including as Director of Presales, worldwide Partner Sales and acting CMO. Ido was the Director of the Hebrew University’s Entrepreneurship program. Ido holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science, and an MBA (with high honors), both from the Hebrew University. He’s a Major (Res.) in the IDF’s Special Forces Unit. Ido is a proud father to 3 objectively amazing children.
