Julija (JJ) Jegorova is the founder of Black Unicorn PR, bringing over a decade of international experience in both in-house and agency-side public relations.

Her career began with global brands like TomTom, ASUS, and VISA, before pivoting in 2015 to focus on the startup world. Since then, JJ has led PR for one of London’s most successful tech startups and collaborated with top independent agencies on a wide range of tech clients.

In 2018, she launched Black Unicorn PR with a mission to offer startups—from early-stage ventures to unicorns—a truly founder-first PR partner that acts as an extension of their team.

JJ is also a sought-after speaker at conferences across Europe, where she shares insights on the power of PR and communications. When she’s not on stage, she’s often on the move—leading workshops and mentoring sessions for startups, corporates, and ecosystem leaders alike.
